# Safety Collar Landing Gear Installation

1. Holding the arm near the shoulder joint, tilt the drone up and insert the landing gear vertical tube with the safety collar.  Note:  To get the landing gear to fully engage, you may need to rotate the vertical tube side to side. &#x20;

2. Ensure the vertical landing gear is fully engaged and tighten the screw clamp until the threads engage the threaded insert on the safety collar. &#x20;
