Registering Your Aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

U.S. law requires that all unmanned aerial vehicles must be registered with the FAA prior to flight.

We recommend that you print the FAA registration number and affix it to the aircraft, on the top carbon plate where the battery is mounted.

FAA Commercial Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) Pilot Certification

In order to commercially operate a UAS up to, but not including 55 pounds, individuals are typically required by federal law to obtain a certification under 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems to do so. The 14 CFR Part 107 Certification has to be renewed every 2 years to stay current. Below are some informational links that are pertinent to obtaining the 14 CFR Part 107 Certification.
