Completely power off the aircraft.

Open QGroundControl on a PC.

Open the Settings tab, then Vehicle Setup.

Click on Firmware.

Connect a USB-C cable between the aircraft USB port (see below), and the device with QGC.

Power on the aircraft.
Note: For safety and to prevent damage to the vehicle, in case of accidental arming of the aircraft, it is recommended to remove propellers prior to powering the aircraft on for anything other than flight operations.

On the right side of the PC’s screen, a ‘Firmware Setup’ window will appear. Select the ‘Advanced Settings’ checkbox (see below).

Under the dropdown menu, select ‘Custom firmware file’ (see below). Select ‘OK.’

Navigate to the correct firmware file, and select ‘Open’.

Wait about one minute for the firmware to upgrade. The beeping will stop when the upgrade is complete. Below is a screenshot of the firmware upload progress.
