Do NOT unplug the IB388 Batteries from their charger unless the IMARS D300 charger states “IDLE”. Doing so may damage the batteries.
STEP | ACTION |

1 | Ensure the IMARS D300 Charger is plugged into a 120VAC outlet and is in the idle state. |
2 | Press the Battery Indicator Button on the IB388 Battery to wake up the battery. NOTE: This button is slightly recessed so a more pointed tool like a pen may be needed to activate the battery. |
Note | Status LED should flash green. |
3 | Secure the Charging Cable onto the top of the IB388 battery. |
A Pop-up window will appear asking you to Confirm the battery is IB388.
4 | Press the Up arrow then Enter/Setting button to select ‘yes’ and continue. |
5 | Verify the IMARS D300 is charging. The charger will indicate: The charger will indicate:

6 | Verify the IB388 Battery Light is Solid Blue to indicate Charging. |
NOTE: Light may flash blue at any time throughout the charge for cell balancing. This is normal. |
7 | Interrupting an incomplete charge:

WARNING: Disconnecting the charger plug while the battery is charging may damage the battery. |
8 | Charger will beep twice once the battery is nearing the end of its charge cycle. WARNING: The IMARS D300 may state the battery is “Fully Charged”. Do NOT unplug from the charger until status reads “Idle”. Confirm that the battery status LED is solid green, indicating Charge Complete on the battery. |
