# Best Practices

Ensure the batteries are within 0.2V of each other prior to flight, using either the charger, clicking the battery icons in IGC, or by tapping the batteries using the [PilotGo App](/inspired-documentation/products/inspired-suite/pilotgo-app/nfc-scan-an-if800-batterys-status.md#scanning-an-ib388-if800-battery).
