IB388 Battery Indicators & Error Lights

This chart demonstrates the meanings of the different LED Indicators for the IB388 battery.

LED Indicator
State
Description

Flashing Green

Active (On)

Battery is powered on. Number of blinks indicates charge level (4 blinks = 75-100%).

Solid Blue

Charging

Battery is actively charging.

Flashing Blue

Charging (Balancing Cells)

Self-Discharge Mode

Battery is balancing cell voltage while charging.

Battery is discharging to storage voltage (40%) after being above this level for over 72 hours. The battery will warm up during this process.

Solid Red

Active BMS Error During Flight

A Battery Management System (BMS) error was detected while that battery was in use. If pressing the status button does not clear it, contact IFT Support.

Flashing Red

Active BMS Error

An unresolved error is still present. If pressing the status button does not clear it, contact IFT Support.

Alternating Blue & Red Flashing

Wake-Up Error

Error occurred while waking from sleep mode. Ensure nothing is connected and press the button once. If it persists, contact IFT Support.

Solid Green

Fully Charged

Charging is complete, and the battery is ready for use.

Flashing White

Enter Sleep

Battery is entering deep sleep mode.

No LED (Off)

Sleep Mode

Battery is in sleep mode. Press the LED button once to wake.
