# IB388 Firmware Version History

**Release Date: May 12, 2026**

1. Bootloader for OTA updates.
2. More accurate battery state-of-charge percentage reporting.
3. Default battery sleep period (time period before entering self-discharge mode) changed to 72 hours.
4. Battery fault state will wait 5 minutes before the battery turns off to allow time for NFC taps and other troubleshooting steps.

**Release Date: January 23, 2025**

1. Battery fault state will go to deepsleep to prevent accidental over-discharge.
2. When 2 batteries are installed in a drone and the drone is powered on, neither battery will enter charge or sleep state.
3. Battery will enter normal state instead of sleep when charging is interrupted early.
