# IF800 Fixed Payload Mounting Kit

## Attaching the Fixed Payload Mounting Kit to the IF800

1. Remove the fixed payload mounting kit from its packaging and ensure that all parts are present.

2. Place the payload rail with the first position towards the front of the drone, and secure using the included (x8) M3 x 10mm screws.

3. Ensuring the payload rail clamps are in the open position and the thumb screw is towards the front, slide the damping plate onto the aircraft.

4. Secure the clamps on the side. (Refer to [weight and balance](/inspired-documentation/products/aircraft/if800-tomcat/if800-tomcat-overview/payload-mounting/weight-and-balance.md) for positioning.)&#x20;

5. Slide on quick disconnect until it clicks into place via the latch on the side.

6. Secure the dovetail cage to the quick disconnect using 4 Short M3 Screws. Ensure the front thumbscrew is tightened.

7. The fixed payload mounting kit is now ready to use.
