# UPI Panel Connections

### IF800 Universal Payload Interface (UPI) Panel

Beneath each IF800 vehicle is a panel with three connectors. The connectors consist of three Harwin Datamate J-Tek connectors: M80-5C11205MU (12-Pin), M80-5C11405MU (14-Pin), & M80-5C11005MU (10-Pin).

By default, the 12 and 14-pin connectors (labeled A & B respectively) come populated with the dovetail quick-release assembly connectors, which adhere to the [Pixhawk Payload Bus Standard](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sg_stwnPqDlZFZ-l_wt6QIxW4d2Nkp8X/view?usp=sharing). The 10-pin connector (C) is an auxiliary connector meant to provide additional connections when the dovetail quick-release assembly is in use.

This documentation is useful for customers using a payload that does not mount using the dovetail quick-release, or that need additional connections from the auxiliary connector (C) in combination with the dovetail quick-release.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Before removing or installing the Harwin connectors & dovetail quick-release assembly and Harwin connectors, please visit the Payload Mounting section of the [IF800 Handbook](https://240141666-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMePZ0UIa6VYv9VbYu4u%2Fuploads%2FdWjrLskgKViRmHUcGTzm%2F_Pilot%20Operating%20Handbook%2C%20IF800%20Tomcat%2C%20107%20Operation%2C%20REV%201.0%20%20\(1\).pdf?alt=media\&token=18403967-c473-4bb7-817c-370879df9838) (Page 16) for instructions on how to safely do so.
