No, the batteries are not hot-swappable. The large potential voltage difference between the two batteries during the swap damages the batteries.
If batteries have remained fully charged for more than a week, or if it has been some time since the last balance charge, you may experience a delay in the charging process towards the end of the charge. If this happens, it is important to make sure the battery is still healthy enough to be used and balance charge the cells.
Refer to our Battery Charging and Battery Storage sections for more information on maintaining your LiPo batteries.
This can also happen if the batteries have been sitting a while. It is mainly caused by an imbalance between the cells. If this happens, make sure the batteries are healthy enough to be used.

The triangle lights on the battery indicate the battery needs to be balance charged. Use the yellow connector along with the 12-pin black cable to attach the battery to the charger to balance charge on the battery. Once the cells are properly balance charged, the error light will reset.
If the light stays on, balance charge the battery using storage mode to return the battery to storage charge level (3.8v per cell) and this will reset the error lights.
