## Scanning an IB388 (IF800) Battery

You can scan an IF800 battery directly from the app to quickly view its information.

{% endhint %}

1. **Open the PilotGo App**\

2. **Position Your Phone**\
 Hold your phone near the top of the battery. The scan will begin automatically.

{% hint style="info" %}
The NFC detector is in a slightly different place in all smart phones. To discover it's location, experiment by holding the top or middle of your phone over the top port of the battery until a scan appears (as shown on the on-screen animation).
{% endhint %}

3. **Review the Results**\
 The battery’s scan results will appear on your screen once the scan is complete. These values reflect the current state of the battery.

{% hint style="danger" %}
If any values appear in a red state, stop using the battery and contact IFT support.
{% endhint %}
