   1. Yellowscan Mapper should be in position 3.
   2. Yellowscan Mapper+ and the Surveyor Ultra should be in position 2.

<figure><img src="https://240141666-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMePZ0UIa6VYv9VbYu4u%2Fuploads%2F9W2TONN5svvWQcjbztlg%2FScreen%20Shot%202025-05-21%20at%208.41.01%20AM.png?alt=media&#x26;token=9f42c98d-fd79-463b-9edd-558015b1afbf" alt="" width="563"><figcaption><p>a) Yellowscan Mapper should be in position 3</p></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://240141666-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMePZ0UIa6VYv9VbYu4u%2Fuploads%2FWPN0ghGqgVh4zCo24W9C%2FScreen%20Shot%202025-05-20%20at%205.52.38%20PM.png?alt=media&#x26;token=e1e231d5-e277-4179-a7c4-2ffe3f286c8c" alt="" width="563"><figcaption><p>b) Yellowscan Mapper+ and the Surveyor Ultra should be in position 2</p></figcaption></figure>

2. Ensure that the red dovetail clamp is rotated to the released position

<figure><img src="https://240141666-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMePZ0UIa6VYv9VbYu4u%2Fuploads%2FSrEsWOzOMK3aDzNxsEqq%2FScreen%20Shot%202025-05-21%20at%208.41.40%20AM.png?alt=media&#x26;token=c9b97ce4-e1ee-4ab3-9379-f2705ad42d8c" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. Align the Smart Dovetail Adapter with the dovetail cage. Slide into the dovetail cage until it clicks into place

<figure><img src="https://240141666-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMePZ0UIa6VYv9VbYu4u%2Fuploads%2FIPm1ZHECv38GyYj4v5K5%2FScreen%20Shot%202025-05-21%20at%208.42.19%20AM.png?alt=media&#x26;token=5fc033c6-7163-4733-b847-7cb74e66177b" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

4. Rotate the red dovetail clamp towards the rear of the aircraft, locking the payload into place. Adjusting the tension via the screw on the clamp may be necessary to ensure a secure connection.

<figure><img src="https://240141666-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FhMePZ0UIa6VYv9VbYu4u%2Fuploads%2FS90FdH7ZelPpeArIFrRP%2FScreen%20Shot%202025-05-21%20at%208.42.56%20AM.png?alt=media&#x26;token=649482fc-ec3c-4528-b6a7-53b54b46fb33" alt="" width="563"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
