# Updating LR1 Mavcam Firmware

This update is meant to be in conjunction with updating to IGC version 1.3 or later.

### Navigate to the Vehicle Setup Menu in IGC

1. Select the IFT logo in the top left
2. Select Vehicle Setup

### Confirm the ILX-LR1 Payload version is later than 0.0.1&#x20;

<mark style="background-color:red;">If not, do not proceed.  Please submit the payload for RMA for assistance with the install process.</mark>&#x20;

If the version is later than 0.0.1, please proceed.&#x20;

### Upload the firmware file to an SD card and plug it into the Herelink

### Navigate to the downloaded file

1. Select **ILX-LR1**
2. Select **Browse Firmware File**&#x20;
3. Select the downloaded firmware file&#x20;

### Select Flash Firmware to begin the update&#x20;

### After update has been installed, look for confirmation message

1. The following message will appear upon install, *Firmware flash complete and was succesful!*
2. Reboot the drone for completion
