# Sony RX1R

The Sony RX1R is the middle ground payload, offering light weight and a full-frame, high resolution sensor, but relatively limited flexibility. The RX1R has a fixed, non-removable 35mm lens and 42.4-megapixel sensor. For mapping and survey missions, it is recommended to use aperture priority or manual photo modes, and configure camera settings prior to starting a mission. For inspection or general aerial photography, where motion blur is less relevant, auto mode may be preferred.&#x20;

The RX1R lacks WiFi and IR LED control capability via [Air Commander](broken://pages/y4UAnf6OqoA2OQgQQS06), but can still be remotely triggered.&#x20;
