Inertial Labs Resepi Gen 1 Installation

Assembling the GNSS Mount

  1. Open the Resepi Gen 1 box and remove the antenna from its packaging

  1. Unthread the antenna from any mount it is attached to

  1. Thread to the exposed SMA connector on the GNSS mount

  1. The GNSS is now ready to be attached to the aircraft

Attaching the GNSS mount to the IF800

  1. Slide the tabs on the GNSS mount into the slots on the drone

  1. Push down, then thread and tighten the thumbscrew to secure the GNSS mount

  1. Snap the GNSS MCX connector to the side of the IF800

  1. Fully attached GNSS unit appears below

Assembling the Resepi Gen 1

  1. Place the dovetail adapter onto the Lidar, aligned to the white dot as shown. Twist until the pin clicks and the adapter is aligned to the red dot.

  1. Insert ZPD connector of the Lidar power cable into the mating connector of the Smart Dovetail Adapter

  1. Insert XT-60 connector of the lidar power cable into the mating connector of the Smart Dovetail Adapter

  1. Thread SMA cable onto the GNSS port

  1. Thread antenna onto the WIFI port

Attaching the Resepi Gen 1 to the IF800

  1. Before attaching the Resepi Gen 1, release and move the damping plate to position 4 on the payload rails, securing the two clamps

  1. Ensure that the red dovetail clamp is rotated to the released position

  1. Align the Smart Dovetail Adapter with the dovetail cage. Slide into the dovetail cage until it clicks into place

  1. Rotate the red dovetail clamp towards the rear of the aircraft, locking the payload into place. Adjusting the tension via the screw on the clamp may be necessary to ensure a secure connection.

  1. Unthread the SMA cover on the back of the aircraft, and thread the GNSS SMA cable onto the exposed connector

  1. The Resepi Gen 1 is now ready for flight.
