Overview of Installing the Mapper+ out of the box onto the IF800 using the IF800 Yellowscan Mapper+ Kit

Read and follow any instructions from the manufacturer prior to installation If there is any contradiction to the following instructions, do not proceed and contact IFT.
Before proceeding with these instructions, ensure that the IF800 Midweight Pro Damping Kit is installed on the aircraft. If not, please refer to the .
Smart Dovetail Adapter
GNSS Cable
GNSS Mount
SMA Adapters
Antenna Screws
Remove the antenna from its packaging
Remove the 5 screws on the bottom of the GNSS mount to expose the inside of the mount
Thread the antenna onto the GNSS mount
Align the 3 holes on the bottom of the antenna with the holes on the GNSS mount. Attach with 3 Antenna screws
Replace the 5 screws on the bottom of the GNSS Mount
The GNSS mount is now ready to be attached to the IF800.
Slide the tabs on the GNSS mount into the slots on the drone
Push down and thread the thumbscrew to secure the GNSS mount
Snap the GNSS MCX connector to the side of the IF800
Fully attached GNSS unit appears as shown.
Open the box and remove the Lidar, GNSS Cable, and Smart Dovetail Adapter
(If present) Twist to remove the cover from the skyport adapter
Place the Smart Dovetail Adapter onto the Mapper+, aligned to the white dot. Twist until the pin clicks and the Smart Dovetail Adapter is aligned to the red dot
Thread the GNSS Cable onto the SMA connector on the Mapper+
The Mapper+ is now ready to be attached to the IF800.
Before attaching the Lidar, release and move the damping plate to the appropriate position on the payload rails, securing the two clamps
Yellowscan Mapper should be in position 3.
Yellowscan Mapper+ and the Surveyor Ultra should be in position 2.
Ensure that the red dovetail clamp is rotated to the released position
Align the Smart Dovetail Adapter with the dovetail cage. Slide into the dovetail cage until it clicks into place
Rotate the red dovetail clamp towards the rear of the aircraft, locking the payload into place. Adjusting the tension via the screw on the clamp may be necessary to ensure a secure connection.
Unthread the SMA cover on the back of the aircraft, and thread the GNSS SMA cable onto the exposed connector
The Lidar is now ready for flight
