IGC Versioning

For the safety and performance of your aircraft, we recommend using the most up to date version of IGC. IGC versions are numbered in increasing order, so version 1.1.0 would be older than version 1.1.1 .

  • 1.1.1 is a little bit older than 1.1.2 and indicates a bug fix has occurred in the newest version.

  • 1.1.1 is somewhat older than 1.2.1 and indicates that a feature has been added or improved in the newer version, plus all of the bug fixes that came before 1.2.1.

  • 1.1.1 is much older than 2.1.1 and indicates that a large revision has occurred in the newer version, plus all of the feature updates and bug fixes that came before 2.1.1.

The list below is in chronological order, with the newest version on top.
