Pairing HereLink Radio
Should the HereLink Controller become disconnected to the Air Unit, follow the following procedure to repair them for your aircraft.
Tools required:
2mm Hex Screwdriver
Plastic, angle-tip spudger or probe tool
Flashlight
1
Locate the UPI panel on the underside of the aircraft.
Remove the UPI Panel by unscrewing (4X) - M2.5 Socket Head Screws using a 2mm Hex screwdriver.

2
Use a flashlight to identify the HereLink Air Unit through the UPI panel port. The air unit is inside and toward the lower front of the aircraft. Locate the “Pair/Reset” button on the HereLink Air Unit.
3
Turn on the aircraft pressing the Power Button on the back of the aircraft.
4
Power on the HereLink Controller module with the power button.
5
Open the HereLink Settings App on the controller (green gear icon).
6
Navigate to the “RADIO” tab.
NOTE: Once the (controller) “PAIR” button has been pressed you have 30 seconds to pair the controller with the drone. If this window is missed, re-select the “PAIR” button.
7
Press the “PAIR” button on the HereLink controller in the top right of the menu.
8
Use a nylon angle-tip probe or similar to depress and hold the “Pair/Reset” button on the HereLink Air Unit until the HereLink Controller screen says “Pairing Successful” and the “Uplink Rate” is displayed.
