Ensure that both new batteries have a charge that is within 2-3% of each other and are active, with their indicator light blinking green.
NOTE: If a Battery Indicator Button light is not blinking green, depress the button momentarily to wake up the battery. If it does not blink green then the battery may be faulty. See Section, Battery Health.

Insert the charged batteries into the aircraft.

Twist the battery lock to secure IB388 batteries.

Follow the instruction in Section, 'Powering On & Off the Aircraft'.

Verify in IGC that the battery percentage indicators have updated for the new batteries just installed and show a healthy status.
NOTE
If either battery health status indicator in IGC is red this means that has been unable to establish communications with the new batteries. In this case, the pre-arm check will show “unhealthy” as shown below. Reboot the aircraft.
