Retention pins are located on the upper insertion into the aircraft shoulder and the lower insertion into the horizontal leg. They twist to click in.

You must push in the retention pin button then insert the leg until it sits securely into the shoulder/horizontal landing leg. Twist until you hear the click in and see the pin secured in it's slot. This is the same for disassembly. Push in the pin to release.

Ensure the safety collars are loosened when inserting and disassembling the landing gear with retention pins. Once the pins are locked in place, then double secure with the safety collars.
